Who Ordered A Jet Ski?

A week or two after Hattie Elizabeth was born we received a postcard in the mail with a coupon code for Jet.com. The two events were completely unrelated unless you add the fact that we needed to buy a few baby supplies.

I had never heard of Jet, so I did some googling and found a few intriguing tidbits plus a promising article on Consumer Reports. Several articles compared Jet's prices to the same items on other websites and Jet was the least expensive site for the necessities I needed. There's also free 2-day shipping and no annual membership fee.

The coolest thing, and maybe I'm really weird for liking this, is that adding a certain item to my cart decreased the price of other related items. For example, after I had our favorite diapers in my cart, adding the nursing pads that I was planning to buy anyway. I love a good game, so then I just started clicking around and buying all sorts of stuff to lower my price more and more. We truly did need everything I bought, and I had a lot of fun just seeing which items would pop up as good deals as my shopping cart got fuller and fuller. Also, using a debit card to check out and opting out of free return shipping will also lower your total.

A couple of days later the delivery man dropped off a package while I was napping. My mother in law told me we'd gotten a delivery and when I asked what it is she said, "It's really big! I think it says it's a jet ski on the box....?!?!"

You can get 15% off your own jet ski, diapers, or most anything else you fancy at Jet.com using the code TRIPLE15. You can use the code up to three times until 12/31!

Happy shopping!
