Memorial Day Sale Picks / Under $30

Every blogger and her momma has blogged about Nordstrom's half yearly sale. I've seen (and bought!) a few widespread favorites that I didn't want to pay full price for. I always sort by price and find some really inexpensive steals. These are my picks, all under $30 except two items that are $38 (the jeans and maxi dress).

I don't have this exact pair, but my similar shorts (jorts?) are very versatile. Throw them on with a tee and flat sandals or with a dressy top and wedges. These are only $23.

Brighter colors look great on summer tans (spray tans, of course!) and this one has a bow in back that really makes the dress. My rear view is a little ummm robust, shall we say, so I'm hoping the bow doesn't look like a total joke.

This is a more conservative dress and the color is beautiful. It would look amazing with jade jewelry. I'm hoping that the fabric is a bit thicker so the fitted bodice won't look bumpy.

This one is really cute for summer weddings or showers. It has cutout in the back so it might be a little much for church or work, unless you wear a cardigan or blazer.

This is my style of dressy-casual. Throw it on with flat sandals and some bracelets and you're off for a day of errands.

Maxi dresses do nothing for me, but this one is cute for a really nice price, for those of you who do wear them.

Our Junior League Board of Directors decided to go a bit casual for press photos this year and we're all wearing shades of blue. This is going to be perfect with white pants!

I live in these jeans. I hate putting them in the wash for a day because I know I'll want to wear them before I remember to put them in they dryer. They're on sale for $38 so I'm grabbing another pair. Size up for a boyfriend-ish fit, my regular size isn't even super skinny.

This dress is gorgeous and it's in colors that are flattering on me, so it's a must have.
