Haute Mommy Monday: Fall Road Trip

I'm planning a long weekend away for David and I to celebrate our Fifth Anniversary later this month.  We will finally get to experience some fall weather, although we won't be leaving Texas.

I love this orange shell, but not the $135 price.  There are two J Crew outlets in the Houston suburbs, I'm going to give them a call to see if they have anything similar.  I have the boots, jeans and a dark navy cardigan.

Love this one...it's so easy, but the wrap makes it look so elegant.

This top is sold on a British website.  Has anyone seen anything similar in the US?  Please let me know if you have, I would love to recreate this look!

I have this navy cardigan (to wear with the orange outfit above, too) and a similarly colored tank from Banana Republic.  I will be skipping the hat.

This is cute and casual, and would be perfect to wear for the drive.

What would you wear on a fall road trip / casual weekend away?
What things are you buying for fall?

Ooh, I've been thinking about this type of outfit, and all of these are very haute mommy. I love that top one in particular - very chic with the rust/navy color combo.

I love the orange and navy together. Your photos are giving me a lot of inspiration for the fall. Too bad we won't see "fall weather" in Texas for a while. I'm your newest follower and would love for you to follow me back. It's always nice to connect with a Texan. I'm originally from Houston, but living in Austin now :)
