My mother gave it to me on the day of my baby shower. I read it that day and literally cried for hours. It suffices to say that I couldn't make it past the first three words when I tried to read it to Georgia today. It's now packed away until I can give it to her on the day of her own baby shower one of these days, because I truly doubt I will ever be able to read it without crying, crying, crying.

This is my first time to your blog, I found it while doing some Sunday morning blog hopping. I am a part time stay at home mom to a 4 month old baby girl. Anyway, all that just to say that I got this book at one of my baby showers. My mom and I both read it and cried all evening. Now it's like I have an addiction to the sad little story. Sometimes when I am in the nursery I read the last few pages and then just sitbdown and cry.
