Yoplait Smoothie + Giveaway

Not many fruits or dairy products have appealed to me ever since my fifth week of pregnancy. Actually, the main food groups I've been interested in are Coca-Cola, cheddar Ruffles potato chips and Kraft Mac & Cheese.  When Yoplait contacted me asking if I'd like to try their frozen smoothie mix, I was a little hesitant.

I really like this stuff! It's around $2.25 at Target (cheaper at my grocery), which is cheaper than a bag of frozen fruit and container of yogurt. There are several varieties and all contain fruit and chunks of frozen yogurt. I just threw mine into the blender with a glass of milk and it was honestly better and quicker than a Jamba Juice. I also love knowing that it helps me get more calcium into my diet. The Yoplait smoothie is about 115 calories per serving, so you'll probably want to have it with additional fruit or a little oatmeal if you're having it for breakfast. Otherwise, it's the perfect snack.

I see lots of Yoplait smoothies in my future, especially since I plan on breastfeeding. I will need all of the extra nutrients and calcium, and since this literally takes less than a minute to make I can see myself whipping them up once or twice a day.

Yoplait has generously offered a prize pack with a coupon for a free smoothie, a drawstring backpack, water bottle and a fitness journal. If you'd like to enter the giveaway, just leave a comment on this post with your blog address, email or another way I can contact you. I'll choose a winner April 4.
